I finally finished the SERIOUS TIMES mixtape, which is a musical reaction to the state of the world, in particular to the politricks of Bush, Blair, and their cronies. It took a while, mainly because it was difficult to find seventy minutes of music that was relevant to the subject but also good enough for a mixtape – artists making music with any kind of political message are definitely in the minority! Xtra large big up then to the all the righteous artists featured on the mix, including Gyptian, Bob Dylan, Luciano, The Honeydrippers, Turbulence, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Richie Spice and Sinead O’Connor.
